CMR organized Second Webinar on Impact of Covid-19 on Pakistani SME’s in collaboration with UMT Sialkot Campus. The webinar was held on 20th May 2020 through ZOOM online platform. The Webinar was attended by 72 Students of UMT Lahore and UMT Sialkot Campus and 06 Faculty/RAs.
Mr. Yasir Amir, Managing Director Surgicraft shared impact of Covid 19 on Surgical instrument sector of Pakistan, whereas Dr Sami Bajwa highlighted the problems in definition and vis-à-vis assessment of impact of Covid 19 on SMEs.
Efficacy of the government support package for SMEs and possible encouragement of this situation for technological upgradation of SMEs was also discussed.
The panelists also analyzed surveys conducted by SMEDA and SDPI
